A quick reminder: if you're going to the solar eclipse track, bring a pair of binoculars, a tripod, a bungee cord, and some cardboard. Eyepiece projection is always a great crowd pleaser, and it will help you and friends watch the partial phases safely! 🧪🔭

Detailed instructions for how to make an solar-observation eyepiece projection rig out of a tripod, a bungee cord, a pair of binoculars, and a cardboard box. The rig will produce a safe-to-view, detailed, bright image of the Sun.
