This both very funny and utterly horrifying. I wish you could sue the the magistrate as well for pure stupidity and failing to act as a check on the dumbest cops of the day.
LAPD officer raids medical facility, thinking it's a dope farm, runs into MRI room with his gun. Gun gets stuck to the strong magnets of the MRI, so cop hits emergency shutdown, discharging all of the helium inside. An epic blunder causing huge damage. Just, wow. www.france24.com/en/live-news...

I don't know if it is awesome or ridiculous that my dad now asks for the screenshots of Bad Profiles on dating apps and is wondering if he should set up a "how to have a conversation" class for adult men. Both? Probably both? What have I done???
For unknown reasons, I went back on dating apps and now it's just a sociological project about the signaling of mask selfies vs men with fish. They never coexist and that's fascinating. (Also why is Virginia? What's with the fish? And the car selfies?)
I am so curious how people think someone taking antidepressants can tell what is "irritability". Is this a problem of being an academic, a consultant, working in public health, having PTSD, or dating American men? Oh, but maybe it's... Irritability?

Alright friends, I am hunting someone who could draw a scifi/catholic iconography Mashup for me as a commission. Any ideas?
I am not sure if coping with corporate bullshit by reading Girard on rage and mimetic contagion is healthy or terrifying. But it is at least amusing the hell out of me.
I am developing an increasing number of questions about the term "ally" as I work for a big company. I am incredibly uncomfortable about how this gets applied as a queer person and starting to think other groups are as well.
This thing of trying to balance how mad my skin is about the sun vs how mad my skin is about sunscreen touching it is my least favorite game of summer. I just need to live much, much farther north.
