Ok, update: the Codex is actually colored-pencil. And there are often lots of small multiples and lots of whitespace. But not exclusively.

Have you even seen the book? ... The style of your illustrations is very different. Nothing like the original ... Why don't you ask me some questions about the aesthetic I'm looking for that will help you narrow it down quickly? ... I think the main difference is that the Codex is pen and watercolor
