there is nobody at the highest levels of Swiss private banking who loves the taste of billionaire ass anywhere near as much as the lowliest minion at Dealbook
Knowing some Swiss bankers myself, it's just a business transaction for them. Dealbook on the other hand has a bizarre cultural fixation on them.
Literally the best thing Elon could do for his best, actually world-changing ventures (Tesla, SpaceX, Starlink) right now would be to step away. Stop being a CEO or board member, go into mostly-retirement, and give big talks about why ppl should invest in them several times a year.
