I went downtown to see friends yesterday, and dropped by the Dundas BMV and found a couple of things... From KINO LORBER I got THE CHALLENGE (1982) directed by John Frankenheimer and starring Scott Glenn and Toshiro Mifune. I also picked up JACKALS (2017), and MIDNIGHT MOVIE (2007).

I don't really know anything about THE CHALLENGE...I was sort of just drawn in by the STRIKING cover image and the fact that it's a KINO release because they do good work. The trailer looked good, and I like the theme of ancient weapons VS modern ones, and marrying Hollywood and Japanese action.
