Y'all, it's going down! 4 developers coding an app in 4 hours. Not to brag on anyone, but this crew is really bringing it! Some truly incredible personalities, minds and ideas in one room. Feels like an absolute luxury to be involved with this!
Maybe you are right. Or it could be that maybe I am trying to break into a new market. Prime example, the conference for charity I am putting on in Dallas. I've reached out to THOUSANDS of orgs at this point. I've been met with an overwhelming amount of No's. Each yes fires me back up.
When people ask me how I got sponsors for the Commit Your Code conference, this is exactly how it's been going. You thought they were chasing me? Nope. I'm chasing them.
If you reach out to 1000 business owners, 100 may reply. 50 may be interested. 25 may give you a hard time. 10 may jump on a call. But if you get 1 yes, it erases the feelings from the other 999 No's.
