It actually can be almost too good.

I spent a few months away from it last winter and just posting here. Worked well - not entirely disconnected from the online people I got to know but somehow able to check in / check out.

While I don’t find the things I come across on twitter “bad” for me as such, despite some strong reactions to some posts, it’s my inability to be in full control of the amount of time I spend there that makes me always angry with myself. The algorithm there certainly knows how to keep me scrolling.
