I came away from this story with a lot of empathy for the devs caught in the middle of all this, and the employees who are now adrift thanks to what amounts to a lot of batshit internal politics.
Thank yall for looking into it. As an outsider, all I knew of Annapurna was how beloved it seemed to be in the gaming community. For that group of 25 to be willing to apparently step away from their jobs speaks volumes about Annapurnas leadership imo. I hope both groups bounce back.

Damn this sucks for Control 2. Annapurna, both film and game side helped on some of my favorite media so it's really disappointing to see it just peter out like this. Wishing Verset the best and hoping they see success
