Outstanding! (on both counts). Long coats AND bookshelves, this just keeps sounding better and better.
I haven't worked in comics in years... do I still qualify for the Comic Book Baking Club? Embarking on an apple pie tonight (King Arthur Flour FTW!). Also really looking forward to Project Park Bench. As you know I'm always a sucker for (a) your art and (b) Magical Folks in Long Coats.
What's EA's position on "AI?" Is there any assurance that audio submissions (or contracted narrations) won't be sampled for AI narration?
Backlist: My elevator pitch for DARKWALKER was "Warrior shaman in pursuit of a shapeshifting serial killer in a post-post-apocalyptic world." I had great fun retelling Beowulf in a reconstructed world that vibes with a 1940s view of the future. www.amazon.com/Darkwalker-U...

He didn't make it easy for them. In the '70s I worked for an ad agency that had KFC as a client. When shooting KFC commercials, "mascot' Harlan would do all sorts of shit to undermine the shoot, forcing multiple retakes. I couldn't help but admire his inventiveness and determination.
I'm all for self care for writers, so by all means drop the blog if you need to. However, FWIW, with the nasty shitshow that's happening all around us, reading your blog is one of the bright spots in my day. Thanks for providing that.
John Oliver recently did a segment on this same issue for Last Week Tonight. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq2s...

FWIW, a belated happy 15th! 20P is still one of my favorites, and IMO one of the best UF series ever.
Thx for the links. I often shoot my own reference, but sometimes on a tight deadline good stock can be priceless.
If it weren't for all the other downsides, it might be a halfway decent tool for generating ideas. But there's no thought or analysis behind what it generates, no understanding of symbolism or resonance. I can generate more, and more relevant & applicable ideas, sitting down with pencil & paper.
