A two-page 1993 ad for the tabletop, fantasy post-apoc RPG, Earthdawn, by FASA Corporation Taking place thousands of years ago on Earth, it was initially intended as the distant past of another FASA property -- Shadowrun. However, changes in publishing rights have since broken those ties.

Earthdawn's adventures focused mainly on the land of Barsaive, a former province of the powerful Theran Empire, following an apocalyptic event that ravaged the world thousands of years ago before recorded history. Now the survivors are picking up the pieces after centuries of isolation in hiding from the Horrors that had ravaged the world and are now (mostly) gone. What lost secrets lay undiscovered? And who are those risking it all to find their fortunes, and even raise their own flags over the land, in the face of the powerful Theran Empire?
