Just for the sake of argument -- A black man was seen beating a cop over the head with a metal pole what the sentence would be, assuming said same black person made it to the courtroom?
Well, I'm not a criminal defenses lawyer so grain of salt, and there are a lot of variables including the jurisdiction and how the prosecutor's feeling that day. But ten to twenty would not be surprising. Longer would not be unheard of. Especially if they have any priors.
