If you are a chronic "what if"-er like me, remember that what ifs should also include good things. What if it goes right, what if something great & surprising happens, what if it's not as bad as you fear, what if your friends support you through the tough times. Hope is essential to being a human 🩷
Huh, I never really thought about doing this. Thanks for the lovely thought, dwuff!
always hard t remember the good ifs. Why are brains like this lol. Thank you for this post <3
I respect that kind of thinking. As much as I treasure my emotions, I always feel the need to be a realist. But sometimes being "realistic" leads to me just jumping to conclusions that the worst outcome will happen because I am a factor. Thank you for posting this wisdom Dwuff. 💙
I really needed to hear this. Thank you!
Remember, Pandora opened that box, it wasn't Hope that fled into the world screaming in terror - it was all the Evils locked in there with it. Hope scares the shit out of Evil.
Ooh, I used the what if thing to reach a logical conclusion as a kid (asking to switch classes, what if they say no, then nothing changes and it's the same as if I didn't ask and that's fine) so even bad what ifs can be helpful!
