$200 would barely get a night & a cheap hamburger. To evac a hurricane you need a min $1000 cash and that is best case scenario where you make it back home in a couple of days after it misses your house/apt. Poor people are better off riding it out. Evacuation is a privilege for the wealthy.

This is horrific advice, you are telling people to value their stuff over their lives. You don't need an expensive hotel and a burger to evac. You just need to be literally anywhere that isn't being flooded.
