Whilst some of this is ridiculous media stuff, the reality has always been that Starmer is not very good. He managed to reduce the Labour vote despite several years of the most incompetent government the UK has seen since Lord North
Who cares if he reduced the Labour vote? He won the biggest majority Labour has seen in years, which is the point. It was a strategic choice.
