A thing I feel I take for granted that I notice not a lot of other people share is if I don’t love a movie or any piece of media in its entirety, I can still use on the parts I *do* enjoy to develop an idea of my taste, so it’s never a waste

There’s so much to enjoy/appreciate about movies with respect to resonance even the ones people write off as “bad” so I’m glad to see you share a similar view
