Proposing legislation and letting Manchin & Sinema spike it isn't "fighting for it." Actually use the bully pulpit. Threaten to investigate Manchin's Pharma Exec daughter w/ a fake college degree. Ride in to WV or AZ w/ AOC & Bernie and threaten to primary them. SOMETHING
"You can yell at them and offer stuff," yet Biden chose to not even try that, because he doesn't WANT to enact the mandate the people elected him for. He likes that Manchin & Sinema stood in his way. He doesn't want to raise the minimum wage or expand Medicare, just do corporate handouts.
They had 50 votes to get rid of the filibuster in its entirety. It's such a convenient cop-out for Dems to say "ah gee whiz, we have 2 turncoat senators, so we can't get anything done." Even if they had 60 senators, they wouldn't've passed anything because of their commitment to "bipartisanship."
