These buildings have curved wattle walls, with little additional wall structures in most cases, so I have begun making wattle frames with florist's wire and thread... weaving the low internal benches is best done first, before making the walls! #archaeology#dublin

When the wattle components are done I I'll turn to the roofing structures. They must be removable to enable the viewer to see how these buildings were fitted out. There are interesting differences between the building types and the implications in Hiberno-Norse society #outreach#irishhistory
