I had no idea icebergs could be so clear and blue until one flipped in front of me to reveal this. Fun fact: the black stripes you see are layers of ash deposited from past eruptions in the region.

This week, my students asked me for prompts for essays to help generate more material. I thought some of y’all might want some ideas too.

This is so interesting because when you look at something like watercolour, there are way fewer single pigment greens than reds and yellow. That intersection between what colours we perceive most easily and how easy they are to create in art is so interesting!

Sad to hear "Asunder", one of my fave books this year, isn't doing as well as the author hoped; since I'm a pretty princess who got an ARC, I'm happy to throw money at an ebook for someone without book money on hand right now. If you're interested, comment, I'll draw a number later this weekend!
