It seems that animated gifs only work if they come from Bluesky itself. Gifs from other sources that are posted as an image become static. Just another item for the list.

Since I've been using this thread to highlight certain issues with this app, I may as well keep going. It's absolutely annoying trying to scroll the gif tab without closing it outright. Swipe up, scroll down. Swipe down, close. There is a workaround, though. You just scroll down, then up. Still.. 😡
