I used to pull *into a parking spot* in the Westminster lot (unlike those who pull in and stop) just to avoid that BS in front/around the schools. Some parents convey an interesting message about putting your needs in front of everyone else's in the way they handle pickup/dropoff.

Was looking for something in my "likes" and found this and now wondering if I missed that this was a play on The Iliad? If so, very disappointed in myself. 🤦‍♀️

While students with disabilities need to be academically capable for college, they also need to be able to self-monitor & self-advocate. Make sure supports being provided in high school aren't interfering with the development of these skills! I discussed this on the ChildNEXUS podcast: bit.ly/CNPI2

A few years ago on "Bitch Sesh," Rae Sanni said the "genre had shifted" from reality to true crime via a vis housewives shows. This was after the Teresa and Joe crimes and around someone else's but I can't remember whose, specifically. Her theory has held up well.

This is basically how we got Milton Friedman, how we got Ronald Reagan, and how we got the up-by-your-own-bootstraps, winner-take-all, profits-over-people economy that's leaving so many Americans (and especially women and moms) still struggling today. Let me explain... 🧵 1/

The University of Chicago just received $100 million from an anonymous donor. Donations of that size fundamentally shift an institution’s programming and priorities, and we know that donors exert influence on campus policy. So this is—as one of my colleagues put it—basically dark money, it should be illegal to stay anonymous when exerting this much influence on an institution that’s publicly supported through tax exemptions, federal grants, non-profit status, etc.
