The Diddy situation is making it very clear that too many people on social media care more about CONSPIRACIES, "humor," and clout than they care about the actual victims and the attempt at reaching legal justice.

It's been interesting to see social media alignment/thoughts shift around Merrick Garland and how we're now at the point where people are like, "Biden should have never picked him." Okay, but BACK THEN, when this was all going down, social media was all for it. Let's try to remember that.

Ever since THR (and Deadline and Variety) have become very tabloid like under their current leadership, they've been weird and very clear in their various biases. Showing a lot of support for Joker 2 after trashing various other movies/directors/actors as recently as a month ago.

Trump goes on a slew of male-friendly podcasts, many of them filled with open sexism or worse. NYT: He’s courting the “Broverse.” It’s brilliant. Harris does 60 Minutes, The View, Colbert and a female-centered podcast. NYT: She’s hiding out in “friendly” territory.

I'm sure a few years from now, I'll eventually watch Joker 2 and treat it like a cheesy movie up there with the likes of Kazam... or Shazam... or ShaKazam.

The nicest review I've heard about Joker 2 is, and I quote, "It's okay. I liked it while watching, then once I left the theater, I was like... 'that wasn't that good.'" So... i dunno.
