I recently read a book called "Retro Gaming: A Byte-Sized History of Video Games" by Mike Diver. His section on Lemmings brought back memories of playing the game (and looking away when I needed to explode one of the lemmings to create an opening).

I don't think it was the Castle of Dr. Brain, I just looked at some images from that game and it looks more detailed than the game I remember. Operation Neptune sounds awesome. I also remember playing a lot of Lemmings and SimCity.

We played at my elementary school in the computer lab. I also remember playing a math game that involved traveling through a mansion and dealing with a robot that asked you math questions. I can't remember the name of it.

Ugh, I remember that happening to me too. I had apparently blocked that until now!

It likely would have enjoyed a salt lick then. (Maybe cows in real life enjoy salt licks, I know deer do.)

That cow is very cool! Perhaps at some point you'll be able to get one in a game that can moo.

Context: I've just gotten The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Me, excited: Look! There are cows! They moo! Come and see the cows! Husband, being nice: Yeah, that's a cow. Me: It's so cute!

I think one time it was hunger that got my party, that or lack of ammo to hunt with.

I like "dreadmill" it conjures up the image of an old-fashioned mill house that instead of producing grain or fiber makes Halloween decorations.

I personally found The Oregon Trail stressful as I never had the right supplies.
