I've been updating my Spotify playlist - "Songs Where The Entire Song Title Is Just The Name Of An Actor". You might think that there are only a handful of songs which could qualify, but It's currently running at 740 songs, and just shy of 43 hours. open.spotify.com/playlist/0rC...
I was pretty shocked tbh! The other thing I was hearing is that those that are ditching research are essentially selling off their most profitable research centres / depts to bigger unis as well

I heard yesterday that larger universities are effectively buying out the most popular courses of their local smaller universities, and also that lots of smaller universities are planning to cut all research and become teaching institutes only. Is this happening elsewhere?
