Yeah but he's also the person who wants to stay friends with JKR despite her anti-trans stance - no doubt to protect his position as HP audiobook narrator. Maybe intelligent but lacking in principles - which is not a good look. (It's not like he was the first to say "being offended" is irrelevant.)
