In general, Glorantha's Genertela is an awful lot like the continental US flipped in a mirror, with a lot of American fauna, and so part of me looks at that and thinks, "Eastern Agricultural Complex time."

One of the techniques of making up languages is to borrow words from real languages. Here, I took one whole from Anishnaabemowin, along with half of its original meaning, to use as a root and then to rederive a word from that root to take into account Glorantha's mythologization of maize.

And now I have enough to form some very basic sentences.
