The moment a Republican wins the presidency, everyone held accountable for January 6th will he pardoned. Not sure how you sustain a democracy when the rising fascist party just needs to win one election to reverse all accountability.

here’s hoping that anti-vax and anti-mask behavior has changed demographics enough. we already know more republicans than democrats have died of covid. i know it sounds harsh but this is where we’re at

I spend so much time among my fellow Leninists that I keep forgetting that there are people who unironically think that Liberal Democracy isn't a sham

I mean, probably. But it’s not like any elected republican actually care enough help anybody who isn’t immediately useful to them.

Well one method that would work would be to use the vast anti-terrorism apparatus against this domestic terror group even though they are largely rich and white. So yeah, it'll probably be collapse instead of that.

Popper and Rawles... The only resolution to the paradox of intolerance is for the "tolerant" society to radically exclude the intolerant. By which I mean you have to put to death any fascist you catch. If you don't want them pardoned they have to be gone.

And no one fighting Cop City will be pardoned by Biden if he wins. Shows how everything is set up as 90s Republicans vs 2020s fasc republicans. You try not to be nihilist but that decrepit piece of shit, the idea of voting for him, it’s just too much

Not sure how you sustain an (American) democracy by ruling out one half of two party system from holding executive power ever again? Do they sit out the next election? The next 2? 10?

If its Trump, yeah probably anyone else? I don't see the value in it for them

And the other party doesn't want to expand the number of people voting because power will shift towards their mortal enemy, progressives.

Dooming is easy, convincing non-voters to vote is hard and helps
