Gonna add a reply I put elsewhere: The problem here is that it's a reflection of how focus is often on rhetoric first. It isn't that it's bad it's being focused on but that it's bad that these other things aren't discussed enough or making constant front page headlines and trending on social media.

I agree with you in general, but in this specific case, I DO think that the rhetoric conjures for many people an understanding of the kinds of policies he'll pursue.
