I feel the anxiety in my bones because my new job, that I hate with every fiber of my being, is offering voluntary time off (day of work/scheduled time off for several months) and even letting people quit and still keep benefits for an amount of time. Like, I get it girl you don't want employees.

The layoffs in the video game industry make my heart hurt. It's bringing me back to when I was laid off during C0VID. The loss of salary, the loss of your work family (if you like them of course), the absolute uncertainty of it all.
