You can probably do something using the World Position in the shader - use that to pick a random colour or window texture.
It's been in the conception and testing phase for 3 years or so, I have yet to commit to an engine version and put a bunch of time into it. Got a lot of sketches and notes on paper though 😂
I liked the approach in games like Nier Automata, where there's some overlap between playthroughs, the levels are the same, but the contents / NPC's are different. Essentially takes place in a different time. It's a lot of work though 😄
