Would "activation" be better or worse?
It's surreal. I always thought of us as far enough inland to avoid most major hurricane issues. Then this comes in from another angle. We're still fine but somehow west of us is a mess? It's hard to understand.
So now the laptops are kept at school instead of going home, to minimize breakage and loss. And when they aren't at home, you can't assume universal access to do remote school. Without millions of dollars dropping in, I think the era of Zoom school ended up being pretty brief (2/2)

I need to spend more time with NotebookLM. Last I tried it really choked on large files, but that has to improve with time. Fuzzy inquiries maybe! I wish it was sold & marketed with these things in mind, instead of as a replacement for regular searches.
one exception is asking questions about a corpus of research materials. But the current tools have a long way to go, and I don't know that I'd call it a mainstream use.
Among many other things, earlier today she tweeted that the + in LGBTQ+ is a stand-in for pedophilia. I'm just as worried about this race as any other. (4/4)
Please pay attention to this race. Talk to others, especially people who might normally just go along party lines down the ticket. If they're open to voting for Stein over Robinson for governor, they should also be open to voting for Green over Morrow. (3/?)
