Is there an official medical term for when people go to great lengths to pretend covid is not a thing and then get mad at people who remind them of the reality something like covid trauma denial syndrome or something. I feel like there needs to be a name for it.

If there's no way to talk about covid without it being impolite, then either politeness will kill us all, or we have to stop worrying about being polite.
I wasn't impressed when Lady Gaga said she performed 5 shows while positive with Covid. I'm not impressed by Olympians who still compete despite having Covid. These are not markers of tenacity or grit. It's stupidity, short-sightedness & the opposite of what builds resilience.
