Nuzzi's a dodo, but I don't see a problem here except for the fact that she was lazily re-using a source - volunteering for Trump in 2020 and hoping that somebody else is the Republican nominee in 2024 because you think Trump will lose are not inconsistent positions.

I supported Biden in 2020 and I "did not want to vote for him" in 2024 and I suspect a great many other Democrats would say the same thing.

I feel like the issue is one of framing. Even ignoring the headline, she probably didn't pick it fine whatever, the story here is that a hard line MAGA two-time Trump voter will be voting for Trump a third time. Any claims of reluctance or being "done" with him need to be seen in that light.

I would not describe someone who campaigned for Trump in 2020 as a "Trump hater" though.
