I re-upped my Instant Fan Club for my longest term favorite band a few months ago and just got my package today and I am so happy… and not just because I got a literal cape (which I am wearing now). The tiny albums have NFC tech that pulls up the album. #youmustbethinkingofsomeotherband
I swear there was an episode of Quincy about water intoxication, but I didn’t see it on a rewatch and can’t find it thru Google. I must have made it up, but it sure feels like I didn’t.
I don’t write, but I own a yarn store. My store is covered in rainbows and has the progressive pride flag up front. I buy my specialty yarn from LGBTQ, BIPOC, and local dyers. And I have anti terf signage. Not everyone is my customer.
A bit more progress on my Sweeney Todd cross stitch. I worked on it for about 4 hours on Wednesday and my hands and wrists still hurt, so I’m taking a little break from cross stitch and reminding myself that I have a 2 hour limit on repetitive motions for a reason.

I still remember when I was a wunderkind at work. I was a mid level dev at 24 and all but maxed out my corporate promotions by 30. I’m now in my 50s, and have been FT WFH for over 15 years and forget that I am now old. The grand baby coming this fall should help that.
A step back from my openly political posts to an art post. But, since art is politcal… Some more progress on my cross stitch of LONDON, with the lyrics inside the red letters as unstitched bits of black. Pattern by Taylor and Cromwell.
