TNC on objectivity in journalism: “Journalists claim to be hearing “both sides”… [b]ut it is the journalists themselves who are playing god—it is the journalists who decide what sides are legitimate & which are not, which views shall be considered & which pushed out the frame” Folks gonna be 😡
Much more his (and your) lane than mine, but I believe it’s the editors pushing “both sides” with pressure on the editors from above for clicks (from both sides).
