kicked out of the video game industry for trying to put "Waw!? And now, what's going on!?" on the key art of every game I work on

cover of a japanese PS2 copy of battle arena toshinden, which reads: "Waw!? And now, what's going on!?" Toh Shin Den is about to present to you a super hot virtual battle, like one that you've never seen before at a rate of 90,000 polygons per second!"

Waw!? Is this the Toh Shin Den ?! 闘 神 伝

I know it's wrong to think like this but 90,000 polygons a second still sounds like a lot to me. You could make a Ridge Racer out of that!

Man, games should brag about a 90,000 polygons per second kind of stat now. It wouldn’t have to even be impressive in context, I just bet there’s some way crazier numbers that would sound super badass in isolation

tired: battle royale wired: battle arena

I think every games box/key art should just have several paragraphs of text like this

Cropped picture of the Japan Sonic And Knuckles box. Text reads:

Sonic races through the green fields

The sun races through a blue sky filled with white clouds

the ways of his heart are much like the sun. Sonic runs and rests; the sun rises and sets

don't give up on the sun. Don't make the sun laugh at you
