And like it's already bad enough for neurotypical people but when you bring this shit to people with autism or ADHD or other types of neurodivergency it just feels so exploitative
Part of what really made me delete the app was just knowing how that is the exact intent of the app It's lowkey insidious how deeply these social media apps try to keep us anticipating notifications and what not
Like SOOOO much time I've been looking at my screen time but I haven't been LOOKING at my screen time 4-8 hours a day on twitter Just one fucking app Insane
The same thing happened to a friend of mine who can't use twitter because of the Brazil ban I'll probably get into the specifics another time but Christ social media like twitter and Instagram are the LeBron of ruining your attention and making you feel dependant on using the app
