The video editing project was an attempt to use Sack’s gloss in that direction. What are replays used for in producing sequences of clips for sports coverage and documentary film. 1/3

Stuart Reeves and myself also spent a while analysing the uses of action replays in watching sports. One way into it is video as a medium that requires replaying for finding and showing things, compared to photographs. 2/3
