I think this coming semester might be when I make the switch (with exceptions for students who are immunocompromised, etc.). I don't love it, because I don't want to create any incentive for students to come in when sick, but a lot of in class activities I want to do require critical mass in person

Do you know if there's a consensus on whether it's okay for cis folks to use Mx? I'd much prefer it to any of the gendered ones, but I don't want to misrepresent myself/steal valor/step on toes. It's not a big issue now that I can use Dr. but sometimes people read that as pretentious
Last time I did a deep literature dive on this (~1 year ago) it looked like as long as you're testing positive there's is a chance you're breathing out culturable virus, but it does drop. By day 14, for example, it's not super high. I don't have the papers on hand, but can try to dig them up.
