Saw this and thought of @emilygarside.bsky.social

A meme that I think is the Gilmore Girls. A boy say's "so it's a album", with album being superimposed, not an original caption. Then, after the album art for "1989 (Taylor's Version)", a girl says "It's a lifestyle; it's a religion"

It's a month until my new book comes out- Gay Aliens and Queer Folks, how Russell T Davies changed TV. A dive into the work of Russell T Davies and his queer stories. Or Gayliens if you will. www.uwp.co.uk/book/gay-ali...

Who says cats can’t be trained

Renaissance image circa 1555 of a cat with a penis & testes in its mouth. The German text underneath is “flaisch macht flaisch”. It’s a portion of a large image where a nun is trying to convince the cat to take the fish she’s offering in exchange for the cock and balls. The text is a play on words for the time that references a German proverb about meat (fleisch) giving good energy but fish (fisch) giving nothing. (Fleisch macht Fleisch, fisch macht nisch’.) The implication is that the nun wants some dick
