I know people who aren't parents of disabled kids are oblivious to this stuff so I want to keep shouting it from the rooftops: my applications for FSCD for my kids have been sitting unprocessed for several months. I'm a working single parent and can't send my kids to daycare without FSCD.

That’s nuts!

I don't mean "I can't afford daycare" although that's also true. I mean daycares literally won't accept my children because they have no other route to funding for additional support for disabled kids. FSCD secured by parents is the only option, and they're not processing the applications.
