What a run! I can't believe I get to say I was a staff writer at Sports Illustrated (well, I still am for up to 90 more days, technically) and I'm so proud of all my coworkers for trying to uphold the legacy of this place over the last few years even as the circumstances made it all but impossible✌️

I have loved Sports Illustrated my entire reading life. (Okay, SI Kids at first, but still.) To work here for even a day was an unbelievable honor. I’m not sure what the future holds—still have some stories in the works!—but I know how grateful I am to have been here at all. The last few years have (obviously) been tough. But I tried alongside some truly amazing coworkers to uphold the legacy + values of SI in any way that we could. I can’t believe how lucky I was to say I was a Sports Illustrated staff writer, period, let alone for nearly six years! Today wasn’t my last day at SI; I’ve been told that will come within three months. After that? I’m open to just about anything, whether inside or outside sports / media.
