Reading the bookseller piece about the industry moving away from X and towards insta/tiktok etc makes me quite sad. Not that they're moving away from X, but that the future DOES seem to be visual. I'm a writer so I can sit in my dressing gown not brushing my hair, dammit. Making videos is NOT IT.

After many, varied attempts at gussying tofu up in the air-fryer, I have given up. It is hundreds of times nicer when breadcrumbed, deep-fried and served with katsu curry sauce... 🍽
