No I think the thing that jars is that you didn't use EXACTLY the same words and word order as me
So, if it is true for n=k, then it is true for n=k+1. Since it is true for n=1, it is true for all n (member of) Z+ by induction. That's just the way I've always written it, since I was a kid. I don't like change 😂
