Oh me too, when I'm marking homework, assessments etc. But it was the one mark that would have got this student an A that would have got him a £30000 bursary 😢

Well I suppose I don't know! But when we did old spec we did MEI and it felt like the mark schemes were more reasonable. But then again I never reviewed any scripts back then.

I've had students who've said Physics taught them to do it in one equation. I told them not to!

Ok a more controversial question: if we're saying all the as are the same, can we not consider the system as a whole and write f=ma based on the direction of motion being up-right-down? Rather than using simultaneous equations?
