The new WGA contract has novel AI language, which will set standards for other CBAs: AI can’t write or rewrite literary material. Writers can use AI if the company allows it, but the company can’t require it’s use. The company must disclose if any materials they give to writers are AI generated.
The WGA reached a tentative agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers on a new three-year Minimum Basic Agreement.
