yeah, i’m familiar with the discord(probably the first 100 to have been in there), plus i’m quite technical, so feel free to share any resources here that shed more light on this concept you mentioned.
Just had a chat with the folks building Robin Feed, and these lads are cooking! SkyFeeds has been a great start for the Bluesky ecosystem, so it’s only natural that a mobile-friendly solution for proliferating Algorithmic Choice is on its way. Their focus on UI/UX reminds me of @samuel.bsky.team
sounds like a good feature for the team to look into for sure. when you say account labels, how do you mean exactly? would love to learn for myself so any examples or resources would be appreciated 👌
everyday i find out that someone’s put my name in the goblet of fire
It’s always exciting to see new apps being built for the Bluesky ecosystem. RobinFeed sure looks like a fun way to build and share your custom feeds. 💯 Algorithmic choice at your fingertips—this is the future we deserve. 👌
In the age of open social, the platform a user chooses to publish a new post on first, as part of their usual routine for cross-posting to other platforms, can indicate where they feel the most assured of secure and reliable distribution and provenance.
we need a defined method to quote post someone in a way that clearly expresses that the quote post doesn’t directly address the author of the original post that is being quoted. this is what innovation looks like in open social
The current approach to algorithmic choice in ATProto (and by extension, Bluesky) for custom feeds focuses exclusively on the primary content space, i.e., the timeline, but not on the secondary content space, which is the comments section. This needs an improvement.
imagine being on your king shit just to get humbled by a random leg cramp down horrendously
