my pitch is if you are concerned with the individual impacts of a ChatGPT query you should consider instead biking for one more personal trip or trying to better insulate your house

I think it's good if people think more about their individual consumption impacts but AI water/electricity use is going to rank extremely low on that list and we should be honest about that

One theme on the left that drives me bananas is the mindset that we have no individual responsibility, everything is corporations fault. Why do corporations keep selling gas to us?? factory farms are immoral, but it’s company’s faults!! Ok then stop demanding the goods they are supplying
