I'm getting lots of aggravation because I haven't turned the rain off.

Don't know if it's still there but that was quite close to the airport. We used to put deckchairs in the garden to watch the bits of the display we could see including the red arrows.

A great lyricist. I've seen him live at the Royal Festival Hall.

I grew up not that far from Biggin Hill and could watch some of the planes from the airshow. I know that sound well. I was once walking home from work when a Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster flew over my head. Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

When one of my team retired he got a job that involved listening in on the calls, and I think cutting the calls off if things got out of hand.

It's a school, so there's not a lot of spare space, and obviously a limit to who can work from home.

Have been working 1 day a week out of 3 (a jobshare) from home for a while. We were recently asked if we'd like to work from home all the time and hot desk when we needed to come in as it had been successful. Then we found out they wanted our half of the office for storage.

It was a three bin day today. My cat is 16 and always behaves as if he's never heard a bin lorry before.

I have the added fun of Thames Water digging up a road near me so that my bus now has two massive diversions rather than one. Although as the first one has been going on for over a year maybe it can't be called a diversion anymore. And yes I do understand that roads need to dug up sometimes.
