Playing computer games with a mouse and keyboard can be difficult, but it helps to remember that many of the keys are short for what they do r - reload m - map w - waddle forth s - slither back a - amble left d - determinedly move right e- environment interaction
As someone who learned touch-typing before FPS controls came out, I still get a little cheeved that Carmack chose WASD instead of the touch typing config of ESDF... (you can get to more keys with a touch typing config, but I have to re-map them in EVERY-SINGLE PC game) /rant ;)
f - to pay respects
QWOP QWOP QWOP QWOP!!
f - this thing in particular
What key do you map to slouch?
And how I arrange some keys: v - vehicle (mount key) b - bags (inventory)
Some games don't use E for interact, so it's F for "fuck with shit".
Shift - shift yourself forward rapidly CTRL - control your descent
I feel like if we'd just stuck with the cursor keys they wouldn't have atrophied on modern laptop keyboards
