On iPhone you can turn off the sounds when your phone is silenced by tapping on emergency alerts at the bottom of the notifications list under government alerts, and turn off “always play sound” for emergency alerts. 🤞🏻Hopefully that works.
Texas used the public safety alert function last night, and you cannot silence that
